INCDO-INOE 2000, Research Institute for Analytical Instrumentation, ICIA Subsidiary, was founded in 1986 having as main research objective the design and execution of analytic laboratory equipments and also the elaboration of analytical methodologies for a vast range of samples.
In time, along with institute development and according to the research request in various areas, these objectives were extended towards environmental, bioenergy, health, clean technologies and technological process programs. Beginning with 1996 ICIA has become a part of INCDO-INOE 2000 and a national institute, being certified for research since 2008 (ANCS decision no. 9634/14.04.2008).
