- to develop an informational system and to create a national agro-tourism instrument in order to present agro-touristic virtual environments, allowing tourists from all over the world to use it.

| DESCRIPTION |
Developing telematic intelligent and interactive systems for agro-tourism environment, promoted on national and international level, represents an opportunity to improve the rural communities and, at the same time, the national economy. In a context where the local financial resources are reduced and are common with those of public administration, the rural tourism, or agro-tourism, is a way to promote the local resources, having benefic results for the rural communities.
The ARSIP project proposes to implement a performant and intelligent platform, which will integrate the agro-tourism resources and services, and will promote them at national and international level, through a portal. The current project was inspired by the wish of creating an embedded software system, which will have pre-defined task to perform; these tasks will be established so they will allow the integration of agro-tourism resources and services from entire country, into a single embedded agro-tourism portal. The technologies and services suggested will be implemented with the new Microsoft’s platform, .NET, and using internet search agents. The portal will assure the transparency of the system’s processes; still, due to the complexity of requirements and processes, a new concept must be introduced: customized interface for portal access (an online desktop), that will guarantee the saving of users’ preferences and history, in a personal profile.
