OBJECTIVES
  • to achieve a program which can be applied in various units requiring the appreciation of the biological age and of the real brain performance, solely based on imaging data, without applying invasive methods, by simply obtaining morphologic indexes obtained by MRI or CT.
DESCRIPTION               RADINDEX aims to study the implications of early brain aging in the context of the presence of associated neurologic diseases or of diseases of other organs with or without major neurologic implications. We also want to study a technique of mathematic segmentation allowing the extraction of the white and gray matter from the MRI images especially for the purpose of imaging comparison of these values with other combinations of different images (analogical CT, SPECT).
